Synopsis

The Imploding the Mirage Apple Music short film is a 20-minute meta-narrative directed by Sing J. Lee that serves as a visual companion piece to The Killers' 2020 album. Built upon the core thematic backbone that "love conquers all," the film blends fictional life with reality to explore vulnerability, hope, and new beginnings. Acclaimed actor Griffin Dunne anchors the stylized narrative segments alongside indie talent Kansas Bowling, the film unfolds through an overarching, grand Americana, focusing on a handful of parallel human experiences.
